the other night david asked me to make him some bookmarks, so we went to the craft store and he picked out his favorite paper and i made him this:
its paper with a magnet as a backing and then you can kinda clip it onto the page so that it never falls out. (does that even make sense?!) we also laminated the front so that it will last forever!
while i had the paper out i also covered some clothespins for our message board. they hold all our loose papers and look a lot cuter than just the plain wood did!
the other great thing that happened to us this weekend was that we found out about the married student ward that we can go to. its a bunch of newlywed couples (some have small children) and we are all at the same stage in life. its a lot better than the family ward we have been going to and we are really excited about it! we really love it already - what is it that makes one ward so much better than another?

(about Pret, we had our plan to eat at the Pret right on Trafalgar Square, we made it there at 6:15, and they had closed at 6. I can't believe how early everything closes there, in the middle of the big city. I just don't get it.)
Congrats David! We always went to the married student wards in Provo and loved them. We figured we'll be in family wards the rest of our lives, and this was our chance to be in a ward where everyone is more or less just like us. It's a lot of fun and a great experience!
What in the world is a colloquium anyways? Did he get a degree just for that word. Holy Moly. He is the man. The scientific terrific man. Those magnets are great. I love them. Simple but clever and practical. Glad you like your new ward. Thats sounds like the perfect place to meet like minds.
