once again, i will not tag anyone, but you can tag yourself if you want to do the survey!

*pre frosting.
hazelnut cinnamon rolls
recipe from 'everyday italian'

3 T melted butter; separated
1/3 cup hazelnuts; toasted and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 T sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1 lb loaf frozen bread dough
(i use the rhoades brand)
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3 T mascarpone cheese
1 T buttermilk

thaw dough according to directions on package. melt 1 T butter on the bottom on an 8"x8" pan. mix the nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and cloves. roll dough into a 12x9 inch rectangle on a floured surface. brush 1 T melted butter onto the dough. Starting at one long side, roll the dough jelly roll style, forming a log. Pinch the seam to seal. Cut into 9 equal pieces (if you dont have a good knife a piece of string wrapped around it then tightened works well too (in a pinch you can even use dental floss)). arrange the rolls in the prepared baking dish, spacing evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise 45 minutes. bake at 325* for 25 minutes or until golden brown. meanwhile, mix powdered sugar, mascarpone and buttermilk until smooth and creamy. brush the remaining melted butter over cinnamon rolls after baking and drizzle cheese mixture over top.

so easy and so good! the frosting is seriously the best part.

Can you believe that your generous offer of Mascapone cheese you gave me at Christmas is still in my fridge. I'm planning on a batch when I return.

Loved all the details about yourself. Not a procrastinator is almost like being a hero. You have lived in alot of places for so young. The rolls look divine. Thanks for the tip on the cheese yesterday. Deb said you have a cheese passion. I am getting it. Cheese really does make a difference.
