Merry.

Cecily has been obsessed with Christmas since about June & tonight we visited a place where they have reindeer visiting.  She loved it.

Then we went inside to look around & guess who walked up behind us...

I was a little worried about how she would react, but she was way more afraid of the vacuum he was using to clean up than of Santa himself.  But she ran right up to him & gave him a big hug then asked for the present she wants...pink lips (which in Cecily language means lip gloss)

When we asked Cecily what she wanted to dress up as for Halloween she kept going back and forth between robot & pirate. Robot seemed easier to make, so thats what we went with.

We went to David's parents trunk-or-treat, or ward's trunk-or-treat and then real trick-or-treating on Halloween night. The day after Halloween Cecily saw a part of her costume and said, 'I don't want to go trick-or-treating again!' so I guess she had her fill for this year.

And when I uploaded the Halloween pictures I found this cute one from when we were in San Francisco this summer & just had to include it.

busy.

Its been 4 months since the last post, but we've had a lot of good things going on since then like...

We visited family in Washington. Cecily & I came a few weeks before David was able to join us, and we got to go boating a couple times,

And to California with my whole family. Cecily got to go to Disneyland for the first time & is since obsessed with Mickey Mouse.

She also got to meet some of her idols - including Tinkerbell & friends. As you can tell by the picture, she was thrilled.

Then David joined us and we went to Idaho for his family reunion. Cecily had fun getting really dirty each day and playing with everyone there.

We had so much fun in Washington that we decided to move here. David had a couple job interviews while we were visiting & got an offer. He had just completed his Masters, so we packed up and said goodbye to Albany a little sooner than we had anticipated.

So then we bought a house. We're moving in today!

And we found out that we're going to be having another little baby girl in January! She was a bit shy for the camera & this is the best picture we got, but I think its still cute.

Today we went to the same farm we've picked pumpkins & apples at before and picked some strawberries. Cecily LOVED the strawberries, it was hard to get any to stay in her basket since she just wanted to eat every single one.

We stopped by our local ice cream place - Jim's Tastee Freez - the other night & I forgot to order Cecily's scoop in a cup.

It was definitely a big mess, but she loved it anyway.

Cecily's birthday was not all fun & games. On Saturday we also had to say goodbye to our good friends the Robinsons, including Cecily's boyfriend Andy. They only moved a few hours away, so hopefully we'll be able to visit each other soon!

two.

Cecily turned two yesterday! Instead of a cake she had a big bowl of ice cream, which is her absolute favorite thing to eat.

A few weeks ago we bought her this kitchen & I've been so excited to give it to her, she loved it. She also got some play food, Elmo books, a Tinkerbell backpack and a whole bunch of other Tinkerbell stuff. Shes kinda obsessed with Tinkerbell right now. She calls her Ink-Bo.
