Fastest vacation ever.

We started off the trip by taking the red-eye from Salt Lake to Syracuse, NY where we stayed with Randy & Steph. We stopped by the school where we got to see Randy's print get steam rolled, which was sweet and ate at the Texas Roadhouse (aka heaven).

The next morning we left bright and early and headed to Albany, which was the main purpose of the trip. David met with some of the professors and we took a tour of the facilities, which are super nice. We just mailed the application and we're both crossing our fingers that he gets in!

One of the graduate students in the program at Albany offered to take us to the train station, so we were able to meet him and his wife and see a bit more of the city, which was so nice of them! They dropped us off at the train station and we headed for NYC.

We arrived in NYC around 8pm and headed straight for the Shake Shack, ate some wonderful hamburgers and then went to Serendipity3, which had a 45 minute wait, so we went to Pinkberry instead, which is my personal favorite! We figured we wouldn't get any for a long time so we bought a large each and ate the whole thing, so good.

After Pinkberry we headed back to the hotel and got a few hours of sleep. Times Square at 6am is empty, it was ridiculous, we didn't see anyone but NYPD and the Starbucks employees. We left on a train at 7am for DC.

We arrived in DC just after 10am and met with Cherie, who took us to the Tidal Basin where we were hoping to catch a glimpse of some cherry blossoms, they were not quite out yet, but we did get some good shots of the memorials and it was a beautiful day. We spent the rest of the day hanging out with Cherie and Rob and eating some really great ham and playing games. Cherie even had a packet of mix for Serendipity3 Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, which made us not feel so bad about skipping out on that stop. We left at 11am the next morning. Thanks everyone who made our trip so awesome!

And for those who have been asking, here is a shot at 31 weeks. The one that had the craziest facial expression was the best shot, so don't judge.
